Is this covered by insurance?
No. Real Wellness MD is a private-pay program — we don't bill insurance, which is exactly why we can spend the time with you that real change actually requires. We're happy to provide receipts you can submit to your HSA/FSA, and our team can help match you to a program tier that fits where you are right now.
How long until I see results?
Most members see meaningful body composition changes within the first 4–6 weeks — measured by InBody, not just the scale. Lasting transformation, the kind that holds after the program ends, takes 6–12 months. We track progress every week so you always know what's moving and what isn't.
Do I have to be on GLP-1 medications to join?
Not at all. GLP-1 / GIP therapies (semaglutide, tirzepatide) are one tool inside our medical weight loss program — not a requirement to be a member. Our 360 Personalized Training, 59+, and Longevity programs all run independently of medication. Your discovery call is where we figure out what's actually right for your body.
What if I have diabetes, thyroid issues, or other medical conditions?
That's exactly when this program shines. Dr. Houser is double board-certified in Family and Obesity Medicine, so he integrates your existing conditions and medications into your plan from day one. Many of our members come specifically because their other providers couldn't connect the dots between their weight, their metabolism, and the rest of their care.
How much time will this take?
Less than you'd think. Most programs total 2–4 hours per week — training, coaching, and check-ins combined. The point isn't to take over your life. It's to design something that fits inside it, and still works.
How much does it cost?

I've never really worked out — is this for me?
This program was designed with you in mind. Many of our members walked through the door having never set foot in a gym. Our trainers specialize in older adult fitness and meet you exactly where you are — every movement is coached, modified when needed, and progressed at your pace. You'll feel comfortable from day one.
How often do I need to come in?
Two to three times per week is all it takes. Each session is just 40 minutes, and our members consistently tell us it's the easiest part of their week to protect. You'll see real changes in how you feel — more energy, better balance, easier movement — without it taking over your schedule.
Who's coaching the sessions?
Certified personal trainers who specialize in working with older adults. Before you start, we do a movement assessment to understand your body, your limitations, and your goals. From there, every workout is designed with you in mind — not pulled from a generic template.
Will someone actually be watching my form?
That's the whole point. With a small coach-to-client ratio, your trainer is right there with you — correcting form, encouraging you, and making sure every movement is safe and effective. You're never just another person in the room.
What if I miss a week or fall behind?
Life happens, and there's no falling behind here. Your coaches know your pace and will pick right back up with you. The community helps too — when people notice you're not there, they ask about you. That kind of accountability is something you can't manufacture.
When are classes?
All sessions are in the morning, between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM. We offer multiple time slots within that window so you can find one that works for your routine. Most members settle into a schedule quickly and look forward to their time here.

For the vast majority of people, yes. Sessions last just 2–3 minutes and you're never actually in contact with the cold air — you're surrounded by it in a controlled chamber. We screen for contraindications before your first session (uncontrolled blood pressure, certain heart conditions, pregnancy), and a trained attendant is with you the entire time. If you're unsure, book a consultation first and we'll walk you through it.
How often should I come in?
It depends on your goal. For general recovery and mood, 2–3 sessions a week is a great starting point. For athletes training hard, daily sessions are common. For chronic pain or inflammation, consistency over 3–4 weeks tends to matter more than frequency. On your first visit we'll help you build a cadence that actually fits your life — and your goals.
What's the $20 first-session offer, exactly?
Your first session — any service, cryotherapy, red light, compression, or infrared sauna — is $20 instead of $40. It's a one-time offer for first-time clients so you can try the service and see how your body responds before committing to a package. One per person. After that, single sessions are $40, or you can save significantly with a Recover, Recharge, or Renew membership.
How does this integrate with Real Wellness MD programs?
Recovery Cryo is part of the Real Wellness longevity system — not a separate thing. If you're in a medical weight loss, personal training, or 59+ program, your coach can recommend a recovery protocol that complements what you're doing in the gym and in the clinic. What does a typical session look like?
You walk in, do a quick warmup. Your Personal Trainer has your custom program on your personal tablet, and you get right to it. The first 30 minutes is structured resistance training — usually a primary lift, then accessory work that builds out the movement. The last 15 minutes is functional, HIIT, or core work designed to keep you athletic. Your coach is with you the entire time — watching form, adjusting loads, telling you when to push and when to back off.
Can I do this alongside Medical Weight Loss or 59+?
Yes — and many of our members do. 360 PT is the strength backbone that protects your muscle while you're losing fat on a GLP-1, or that compounds with what you're already doing in 59+. Your coach and your physician share notes, so the whole picture stays coordinated.
How many sessions per week is ideal?
Two to three times per week is the sweet spot for most members. Two builds and maintains real strength when paired with solid recovery and nutrition. Three accelerates the curve. Is there a beginner option?

When prescribed by a physician, sourced through a regulated pharmacy, and monitored with appropriate lab work — yes, peptide therapy is generally well-tolerated for the right candidate. Like any clinical tool, it carries risks if used inappropriately. That's why we won't move forward without labs, a real consultation, and a clinical reason to do so.
Will I need bloodwork?
Yes. We don't prescribe peptide therapy without a baseline panel, and we re-check labs throughout to make sure the protocol is doing what we want it to do. If you're not willing to do labs, we're not the right clinic for you — and we'll tell you that honestly on the discovery call.
How is this different from other clinics offering peptides?
Most clinics offering peptides operate off a menu — you pick what you want, they prescribe it. We operate the opposite way. Your physician decides what's clinically appropriate based on your labs and your picture, and we'll tell you "no, this isn't for you" as readily as we'll prescribe a protocol. And every protocol gets paired with the rest of the program — not sold as a standalone fix.
Can peptide therapy be combined with GLP-1 medications or strength training?
In many cases, yes — and that's actually one of the strongest reasons our patients pursue it. Because Dr. Houser and his medical team oversee both your medical weight loss program and your peptide protocol, the two are coordinated from day one. Your coach knows what your physician prescribed. Nothing falls through the cracks.

Is this beginner-friendly?
Yes — coaches scale movements and modify intensity for the room. That said, the format is high-tempo by design. If you're brand new to group fitness or have specific concerns (injuries, recent surgery, deconditioning), our 59+ program or 360 Personalized Training will give you a more structured starting point.
Can I drop in for one class?
For first-time visitors, yes — your first class is free. Reach out to coordinate. After that, ongoing participation works through our standard membership.
How does this fit with the rest of Real Wellness MD?
Honest answer: Large Group is a different category than our flagship programs. Medical Weight Loss, 360 Personalized Training, and 59+ are physician-led or programmed for specific outcomes (fat loss, strength, healthy aging). Large Group is for movement, energy, and the social side of working out. Some members do both. Some don't. Your coach can help you figure out the right mix.
